GranuFlo Wrongful Death Heart Attacks

GranuFlo Cardiac Events May Be More Likely To Occur With GranuFlo Dry Acid Products

GranuFlo is a product that is manufactured by Fresenius Medical Care Labs.  It is used during dialysis as part of the dialysate mixture.  Dialysate combines ultra-pure water, bicarbonate concentrate, and acid concentrate to aid in removing toxic waste from the blood system by neutralizing the acids that build up in the blood.

A memo from Fresenius Medical Care Lab noted, that people being prescribed GranuFlo during their dialysis treatments were suffering increased instances of cardiac arrest.  But, it does not appear that Fresenius Medical Care Lab shared this information with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) or with patients being administered GranuFlo.  In fact, as many as 941 patients have suffered cardiac arrest due to improper administration of the GranuFlo dry acid product.
